Grab lunch and join us Saturday at noon as Jordan Goulette from ASC talks about various types of bass traps and their pros and cons, focusing on the iconic TubeTrap. Learn the science behind the acoustic device that has brought joy to thousands of golden-eared audiophiles. He will also touch upon best acoustic practices for providing an accurate spatial presentation in your 2-channel audio system. To conclude, some interesting acoustic phenomena in the everyday world will be shared for the crowd to enjoy after the seminar.
While you’re there, be sure to have a look around the show. You’re sure to see many Hifi rooms featuring TubeTraps working with the gear to provide the very best sound possible. ASC partners with a number of exhibitors each year who demand the best sound quality, and we bring TubeTraps down from Oregon to help them out. We also provide complimentary “loaner” traps for the duration of the show to rooms that sound… not so good. Best of all, these TubeTraps are available to buy at the end of the show for a nice discount!
The SWAF is dropping Sunday and adding Thursday this year, giving an early start to busy folks and leaving you more time on Sundays for your families. Friday and Saturday will remain 10am-6pm with many rooms having evening and after-hours listening events.
