US Patent Awarded to Art Noxon for IsoThermal TubeTrap
Continuing his ongoing pursuit of furthering the field of acoustic sciences, Art Noxon has developed a new approach that nearly doubles the bass absorption below 60 Hz over our original TubeTrap. The original TubeTrap has been in active production since 1984. This month, a new US Patent has just been approved and awarded for Art’s most recent invention – the IsoThermal TubeTrap
This evolution of the TubeTrap builds on our original patent and adds an IsoThermal component to the interior acoustic capacitor. This new capacitor design increases the TubeTrap’s ability to absorb in the low-frequency range, and adds an extra half-octave of bandwidth at the bottom end. The new IsoThermal technology will be used across our entire TubeTrap line
